Builders
Grow.Collaborate.Lead.Build.Ship.Connect.
An open community where people in tech do real work together, reviewed by people who know the craft.
Why Join Us
There are a lot of communities out there. Here is what makes this one different.
Most communities give you access.
Codetopia Community gives you a record.
Anyone can send you an invite link. What happens after is usually up to you, and six months later you have nothing to show for the time you put in.
Here, the work gets written down. You do real work, on a team, a project or an event, practitioners review it, and what you did becomes part of who you are in the community. A record you never had to write about yourself, because the people you worked with wrote it for you.
And it counts the contributions that normally leave no trace: the review you gave a teammate, the session you ran, the person you unblocked, the thing you designed, wrote, tested, planned or shipped.
A Record, Not Just Access
Badges, certificates and recognitions earned through reviewed work, written by the people you worked with.
Every Discipline
Whatever your craft, there are people here doing it. No one discipline is the main event and the rest guests.
Every Level, Honestly
Complete beginners sit alongside senior practitioners. Say where you actually are and get matched accordingly. Nobody has to pretend.
Open To Organisations
Led by Codetopia and run by its members. Any organisation that wants to work with the people here is welcome.
Members Run It
The projects, the events, the reviews, the writing. Most of it is open to any member who wants to pick it up.
And the everyday things
Collaborative Projects
Real work, from our own projects and open source to work organisations are welcome to bring.
People Ahead Of You
Ask when you are stuck, get your work reviewed, and work alongside people who have already done it.
Community Events
Meetups, technical sessions, and hackathons to connect and build together.
Meet the Community
Tech enthusiasts of every kind, at every stage, all in one place.
The Impact
The events, sessions and programmes members have run, and the schools, hubs and organisations they ran them with.
